Our story began in 2013 when devastating floods in Uttarakhand forced thousands of women to earn a livelihood after losing their spouses.
Dr. Hiresha verma, “the Mushroom lady of India”, started Mushroom cultivation and trained over 5000 women, from a small servant quarter. Today we have a state-of- the-art infrastructure over 1.5 acre land. These women lead dignified lives, by making a living through mushroom cultivation
A Decade Long Journey
Our story began in 2013, when a devastating flood washed away everything in Uttarakhand and many villages were left with no men as they went towards flood area for work and never came back. Only women and children were left in many Villages. Our founder, Hiresha Verma, coincidentally was working for an NGO at that time and got the opportunity to meet these women and decided to do something for them. And rest is history! Today, we are honored to serve women and farmers from across the country by providing training and generating employment in the frontiers of mushroom-agriculture. In addition, we also provide
high-profile mushroom consultancy for pharmaceutical corporates and food industry.
